Verified ReviewerTrouble with ticket transfer
I bought 4 tickets to Home Alone at the Alabama Theatre. I have literally spent HOURS on the phone with Stubhub today!
I transferred the tickets to my daughter, as these tickets were an early Christmas present. After speaking with numerous reps and being told I had to call Ticketmaster and spending 2 HOURS on the phone with Ticketmaster, I was told that Stubhub had to handle our issue since we accepted the tickets from them. My daughter accepted the tickets, however, the link disappeared and the tickets with the barcodes never showed up ANYWHERE! I called back this last time and spent almost an additional HOUR on the phone only to have a supervisor tell me we messed up the transfer.
All we needed was for them to tell us where to go to find the tickets, which they could not do! The tickets have to be SOMEWHERE! Customer service is HORRIBLE! The supervisor told me they could not do anything at all to help me because we accepted the tickets, which we never denied.
Also had a rep named Zia flat out call me a liar when I told her the supervisor I spoke to earlier told me I could call back again if needed and speak to a supervisor. Her response was let me look through the notes to see if they really told you that. They need to hire people who understand what is being asked! Tickets do not download and stay in your email which is what this last supervisor told me over and over.
SMH.
See below, this is all that is listed on their email. Yes we accepted the tickets, but where did they go and there is no barcode.

Verified ReviewerRefund for an unused parking ticket
Hi,
I bought parking at the Bell Center, but can't use it because I have a truck and we cannot park there on match night. So, I asked for a refund, because it's not mentioned anywhere except on the Bell Center parking lot page. Customer service said it wasn't their problem, but yes, it is! If we are going by the law, OPC Office de la Protection du Consommateur and also by your own fan protect guarantee, it's the second time that your company has responded with a 'no'. And we won't have a third time; I'll pursue the company even for $55. I'm a lawyer and it infuriates me when companies take advantage of customers because they don't know their rights. I'm French Canadian, pardon me for my mistakes.
I'm waiting for my refund as soon as possible.
Thank you.
I have all conversation screenshots, emails, etc. Please inform me where to send them if needed.

Verified ReviewerI.paid $2500 for a Taylor Swift ticket that I never received.
I received a ticket in March, attempted to get a refund but was denied; you charged my card in May. I never received the ticket and was misled about receiving it by at least four agents on the day of the show.
I was not offered a replacement ticket for the same show, as I flew from New Hampshire in the USA for this.
If I had been told the truth, I could have had time to find another ticket. I've already sent a copy of my credit card payment.

Buying tickets from StubHub Canada for a show in Montreal, the total cost was $431. However, StubHub charged $610!
It seems like I didn't purchase from StubHub Canada. Apparently, I purchased from a third-party who lives in the US and that person asked for US funds. I had no idea this was going to happen. I called StubHub, but they won't do anything.
It appears that it's too bad for me. Never again!

Verified ReviewerHorrible Experience
To Whom It May Concern,
My name is David Swan and I am reaching out to you with the sincere hope you can help resolve a terrible problem that your company caused today.
Today, I purchased a ticket to Back to the Future: The Musical in NYC on Broadway and had the worst experience ever when dealing with a company.
I gave it a few hours after purchasing my ticket and did not receive it. I reached out to the StubHub customer service and was assured I would receive the ticket in time for the show ('the sale went through. You have nothing to worry about'). I explained I had a 4-hour train ride that would cost me over $100 and I would be much more comfortable with the ticket in hand. Again, I was told the ticket had been purchased and I would be receiving it.
While on the train, I again reached out and was told by your online support that the ticket had been put in my wallet and the transaction was complete. This was not true, so I reached out to a live representative and again was told I had nothing to worry about. I pointed out to them that tickets were selling very fast for the show and if they couldn't guarantee the ticket, I wanted a refund so I could get another seat.
Again, I was told I had nothing to worry about and the ticket would arrive before the show started.
With doors opening at 6:30, I called one last time at 5:30 and explained the situation. I was told at that point (I am now in NYC) that the seller wouldn't release the ticket and I would be sent an email with replacement ticket options in 40 minutes or so. I begged the person not to make me wait 40 minutes because tickets were almost gone. I eventually received the email saying tickets were sold out and I would receive a voucher or refund. Neither of which I wanted.
I called up again and explained what had happened and asked for help securing a ticket for a different Broadway show. I was told no.
I ended up spending additional money on a ticket to a show I didn't want (it was all I could afford, but I was already in the middle of an 8-hour round trip) and then spent another 4 hours on a train home.
I missed out on a very special event (the final show for several people) because of this nonsense. I do not understand how you can allow people to sell tickets without having the tickets in hand. I was lied to repeatedly by your employees and had a truly special night ruined.
None of this is ok and I am asking you guys to make this right. Either by you providing me a complimentary ticket to the show I had paid to see, or by providing me with information regarding the seller so that I can take them to court rather than you. Intentionally wasting my time and money is unacceptable.
I would not have spent over $100 on train tickets or even gone into the city for any other reason than to see Back to the Future before it closes Jan 5th. No matter what, I missed out on today's special event, there is nothing you can do to change it... but you can make good by doing the right thing.
I will never do business with this company again regardless, but I think you can clearly understand that this was extremely poor service.

I was purchasing a VYBZ Kartel ticket for December 31. They said the ticket was $267; however, I came to find out they charged me an additional $100 in taxes, which summed up to $379.
On top of that, they charged my credit card $421. I want a full refund of my money. You guys are scamming people, taking money from people without their acknowledgment. Then they informed me that I had purchased the ticket in euros.
The ticket was priced in Europe and converted into American money, which added up to $421 without my acknowledgment. I want a full refund of my money. They're telling me I can get a refund.
I will take them to court and I will win millions for emotional distress. I don't know the difference between euros and American dollars, and I know that they charged me $421 for a ticket that was supposedly only $150.

Verified ReviewerFraud!!!
I purchased 3 tickets through StubHub for Sabrina Carpenter concert. I had to re-sell them on their site and posted all 3 of them.
2 of the tickets were sold but I wanted to make sure I transferred the tickets correctly so I called StubHub direct. The StubHub employee personally uploaded and transferred the tickets and verbally and sent email confirmation. I sold another ticket and once again called StubHub for help. The StubHub employee transferred that remaining ticket to the customer.
He double checked its accuracy and I received the confirmation. The next morning I woke up to an email stating that there was a problem with one of the tickets and the person was denied entry. StubHub told me to immediately send proof of purchase and gave me a two week timeline. I immediately sent an email with proof of purchase and the attachment.
I never heard back so I proceeded with an additional email with another proof of purchase attachment to prevent confusion. More time passed without any communication from them so I called StubHub and spoke to a customer service representative. After explaining my situation, she researched the information on her end and confirmed that it was a confusing situation and they were working on it. She explained that StubHub was confused because it was a Ticketmaster ticket and the concert venue shouldnt have refused to accept it.
She explained that they were figuring it out with the venue because the venue was wrong. Regardless, she PROMISED me payment and apologized for the delay. She told me not to worry! I just received an email telling me that because I never responded to the email with an attachment proving my proof of purchase for the ticket Stubhub will not refund my money.
This is incredibly exasperating!! This is fraud!! I have invested hours of my time trying to navigate this situation which shouldnt be happening.
I demand my money!! Buyer beware!!

The passes that I received had the wrong time to (5:00PM). I was unable to park and had to pay additional money that day to purchase parking.
I called prior to the event, after the event & emails for a refund. Furthermore, I was promised a full credit of $30.40. I contacted StubHub by phone on 8/12 and was told a credit would be issued. I have supporting documents.
For my inconvenience, I was offered a credit of $7.60 for future purchase. As of today, I have not received my full refund.

The platform failed to post my listing as active, and I received no help from customer service or refund. I've been trying to sell, but it will not post as active.
Customer Service initially tried to help but took no accountability whatsoever, nor did they offer a refund. They also did not let me speak to any sort of manager. I lost out on the sale of the tickets.
They took zero accountability. I will never use this platform ever again.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Many many emails and a couple of phone calls.
There was a lot of confusion which was eventually unraveled. I got my replacement tickets the day of the concert.Thank you.
I purchased these through StubHub. The tickets were cancelled due to some changes made by Moda and my tickets were cancelled. Since I don't know who the tickets actually came from, StubHub said I was not allowed to know who the seller was. Now they say I need to contact the seller to get my refund.
I have chatted with both StubHub and Ticketmaster and all I get is finger pointing. Please refund my money, or get me to someone who can. I will not give up until I get my refund.

Verified Reviewer |Last-Minute Ticket Scam – Do Not Trust StubHub!
Absolutely terrible experience with StubHub. I bought tickets in advance, only to be told just hours before the event that the seller couldnt provide them.
They first offered alternative seats, then retracted that offer too, leaving me with nothing. Later, the seller came back with another offer, but the seats were not comparable to my original purchase. They even suggested I might get upper-level balcony seats, but it would take another hour to review and send themby which time the show would have already started. I was completely out of time, and the tickets offered were nowhere near the large section I originally paid for.
Customer service was completely unhelpful, blaming the seller and refusing to take responsibility.
They only offered a refund, but that doesnt make up for the stress, frustration, and ruined plans for me and my wife.
This last-minute cancellation is unacceptable and StubHub needs to stop misleading customers with their so-called FanProtect Guarantee. Avoid this company unless you want your night ruined!

I used the platform to buy tickets for a baseball game. However, I went to the wrong city and had to put the tickets back on sale.
It was complicated because both the app and the website were constantly bugging out, and the system kept making me re-enter information. In fact, I had to create the same ad seven times. I called support to have the duplicate ads removed. It's difficult to chat with a human member of their support, and they take two to three minutes to respond between lines.
They repeatedly ask for the same information as if they did not read what you write to them. In the end, they cannot delete duplicate ads on their own platform. In addition, they told me they would charge me the price of the tickets to deliver the tickets to buyers who purchased tickets for the same seats at the same game seven times.
Bravo to the team. Truly, you are professionals!

I have waited 126 days for a $65 refund for a show that was cancelled. I was told my case has been escalated many times but yet they do not know when I will receive my money.
I was told I just have to wait. There has to be a way to speak with someone above customer service representatives.
A friend just went thru this as well. She purchased a parking pass for $150.00 for the 10/20/24 Taylor Swift concert in Miami.
The day of the concert, Stubhub cancelled the parking pass so she had to pay another $150.00 for another parking pass thru another company. Stubhub then emails her - twenty minutes after the show has already started! - stating that her "new" parking pass has been issued. She was already in the concert!
She is now fighting with Stubhub for a refund and they are not budging. They say that they fulfilled their end of the agreement.
She requested a manager several times on the phone and they refuse to allow her to speak with anyone with any authority. This company needs to be investigated for fraud!
