While checking Google Chrome for Toronto events on June 29th, I locate an event called Passenger, displaying a photo of Passenger himself (Michael David Rosenberg) under the heading: Passenger - Events Near You - June 2018. The top of the web page proudly bears StubHub's logo. The advertised Passenger event is surrounded on the web page by Phantom of the Opera, The Eagles, and other musical acts & shows.

Here's the link to the StubHub page I located:

A click on the tab reveals Friday, June 29th Passenger - TIFF Bell Lightbox, Toronto, Ontario. Immediately beside this is an advertisement of Passenger's show at the Pheonix Concert Theatre in Toronto in October. Clearly the June event must be a Passenger concert, so I went ahead & bought 2 tickets, total price $92.50 U.S.D.

Hours later my e-tickets arrive, so I print them & see the tickets are for THE PASSENGER - not PASSENGER. A red flag goes up. I learn that TIFF Bell Lightbox if part of the Toronto Film Festival. I call them & learn there is no Passenger concert - they are playing an Italian movie called The Passenger.

I finally locate a phone # for StubHub and am told by StubHub Customer Service that I should have used due diligence and checked Passenger's touring schedule...then checked TIFF's site to confirm if a Passenger concert was taking place...only only then, if I was satisfied it;s legit, should I have bought tickets. Unsatisfied, I eventually get them to provide an email address to send them the link & ads that led me to believe a Passenger concert was taking place. So, I send photos & direct links to etix@***.com, convinced that I have successfully proven that I deserve a full reimbursement. WRONG! A few hours later a police woman called & told me I am out of luck. She argues that nowhere on the material I sent does it say "concert" - therefore I was wrong to expect a concert (even though it showed a picture of the singer songwriter, was surrounded by other music events, and was tag teamed with Passenger's October concert in TO.

When I brought to her attention that it advertised PASSENGER - not The Passenger, and that absolutely nowhere did it say the word MOVIE, and nowhere did it show a "The Passenger movie poster", she told me we were going in circles, that she was the highest level customer service rep available, and that StubHub would NOT provide a refund. When I asked her how I was going to get my money back, she told me to sell the tickets on StubHub.

Very unsatisfied, very disappointed, very misleading, and totally lacking integrity as a company. Never again will they receive my business, nor should they ever receive yours.
