I bought tickets yesterday afternoon through Stub Hub for the play Dear Evan Hansen, the 8pm performance. Unbeknownst to me, the Tony award winning actor has been sick for the past week and a half.
I live in the area and could have seen the play at any time but was available last night and brought my 12 year old daughter to it and were both extremely disappointed to see the understudy was going to play the lead. Even though you buy tickets through their website and they have a "fan guarantee" - sounds good on paper but means nothing in this instance. I talked to Stub Hub before the play even started and they said they couldn't help me.
The theater couldn't help me. I feel duped by Stub Hub, the theater and the person selling the tix on Stub Hub.
